Netgear ex6100 ac750 dual-band wifi range extender manual


The Netgearex6100 ac750 dual band w increases the range of the Wi-Fi network by enhancing the overall signal quality over the long distances.  You can also connect your router to the extender by using the Ethernet cable and then use the extender as an access point.

Installing the Wi-Fi Extender

             First, place your extender in the same room as in which your Wi-Fi router is placed.
             Then plug the extender into an electrical power supply outlet and wait for the LED lights to become solid green.  If the power LED does not light, then you have to press the Power button.
             Then before proceeding further, you have to make sure that the switch on the extender is set to ON.

Connecting to the Existing Network of Netgear ex6100 ac750 dual band w


You have to connect the extender to the existing Wi-Fi network to extend the range of your Wi-Fi network.  The following are the two ways to do it.  

a.            Connect with WPS
b.            Connect with genie Smart Setup

Connect with WPS

The secure Wi-Fi network that uses the Wi-Fi Protected Setup allows you to join the network without entering the network name and password.  The WPS button is a button on your router.  

The following are the various steps that allow you to connect to the WPS.

             First, you have to press the WPS button that is present on either side of the extender. 
             Then within 3 minutes, you have to press the WPS button on your router.  If the router link LED lights green and the WPS  LED on the extender lights solid green, then this means that your extender is connected to the existing Wi-Fi network.

             Repeat the step 1 and 2 to connect to the extender to the 5 GHz band if your Wi-Fi router supports the 5 GHz band.
